Five TAPPI Divisions collaborate each year to develop the world’s largest technical conference for the paper and packaging industry, PaperCon. These key divisions: Coating & Graphic Arts, Paper & Board, PIMA Management, Process Control, and Nonwovens, bring together technical experts and business leaders in the paper, board, and nonwovens industries to create a dynamic technical program focused on cutting-edge technologies, best practices, and key issues and trends affecting the industry. PaperCon is known for providing tangible takeaways to solve many technical challenges mills and other paper and packaging professionals currently face.

PaperCon 2019, May 5-8, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana, offers nine topic-specific tracks allowing attendees the ability to customize their conference experience and attend only those sessions that best fit their needs. Tracks include: Papermaking Conversions, Papermaking Additives, Coating & Graphic Arts, PIMA Management, Recycled Paperboard, Nonwovens, Reliability & Maintenance, Process Control & Papermaking Fundamentals, and Paper Physics. Both young professionals just starting their careers and seasoned professionals with years of experience will benefit from the key topics addressed during the 4-day conference. Get program details.

PaperCon will once again be co-located with TAPPI's popular nonwovens conference, NETInc, as well as the International Paper Physics Conference (IPPC), the Recycling Paper Board Technical Association's (RPTA) Production-Technical Seminar, and the TAPPI/IDCON Reliability & Maintenance technical sessions. These five high-powered events draw CEOs, mill managers, superintendents, scientists, process engineers, and suppliers from over 25 different countries. Attendees can attend all five technical programs for only one registration fee.

PaperCon attendees will also have the opportunity to hear Amy Blankson, co-founder of GoodThink Inc, deliver the keynote address. Amy combines the research of positive psychology with stories of real-world application during her presentation and will help attendees gain a fresh perspective on how to raise their levels of well-being and performance.
