Athens Paper Appoints New VP, Packaging

Athens is proud to announce that Jeff Payne joined their team as VP of Packaging. Jeff has been in the paper and packaging business for nearly 20 years and looks forward to building a team of packaging-focused, solution-selling individuals at Athens. With Jeff’s wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry, he looks forward to bringing value and providing outstanding service to Athens customers.
Since graduating college at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C., USA, Jeff has utilized his degree in Communications and Business Administration in a wide variety of sales/management roles in the service and distribution industry. Most recently, he served as Packaging Sales Manager at Veritiv Corporation.
Payne is excited to take on his new challenge. Jeff said, "I want Athens Paper to be recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and dependable packaging distributors in our entire coverage area."
