Buckman (Memphis, Tenn., USA) a global company specializing in innovative chemical and smart solutions, announced this month (Oct. 2018) changes to its freight pricing for the pulp and paper industry in North America.

Effective Nov. 1, 2018, or as contracts allow, Buckman will implement the following freight delivery increases:
  • Buckman-arranged bulk tank truck orders - $.02 - $.04/lb.
  • Buckman-arranged IBC/drum truck orders - $.02/lb.
The change is being driven by the continued shortage of drivers, limited capacity of truck and rail carriers, new freight regulations and rising cost of fuel.
