As the pulp and paper industry looks at ways to stay competitive in the future, industry leaders recognize how collaboration among academics, suppliers, manufacturers, and government agencies can lead to advancements in technology and new opportunities for growth. These partnerships combine knowledge, experience, and different perspectives to find solutions for challenges facing the industry today and tomorrow.

The State of the Industry Panel: Partnership for Emerging Technology will take place Monday, October 29 and is part of the PEERS’ Sustainability Track.
TAPPI’s Pulping, Recycling, Engineering, Environmental, Recycling and Sustainability (PEERS) Conference offers a peer-reviewed technical program comprised of seven topic-specific tracks focused on today’s most pressing issues. The Sustainability Track includes four sessions:

- Session 3 – State of the Industry
- State of the Industry Panel: Partnership for Emerging Technology
- Managing Investing Decisions in the Pulp and Paper Industry presentation
