First Quality Now Installing PM 3 in Pennsylvania

According to a Sep 20, 2018 report by The Express (Lock Haven, Penn., USA), First Quality Tissue’s (Anderson, S.C.) construction of a third papermaking machine has brought 400 contractors into the area as they work to get the new machine online by January 2020. But that number will more than double next spring to 900 contractors.
That’s according to Mike Flanagan, CEO of the Clinton County Economic Partnership. Flanagan provided an update of that project and others at the agency’s annual meeting this past Wednesday night. First Quality’s multi-million dollar investment in a third paper manufacturing operation – tissue and paper towel – is on schedule, and the massive building under construction should be closed by winter. Equipment should start to be installed early next year.
