Copamex (Monterrey, Mexico) announced earlier this month (Aug. 9, 2018) that the company will be converting its Anáhuac mill by switching production from graphic paper to recycled containerboard. The design chosen by Copamex can use a special combination of raw material such as OCC and mixed paper types.

The reconfigured machine, scheduled to restart in the early part of this upcoming year, will have a capacity of approx. 260,000 metric tpy making testliner and fluting.

Copamex is one of Mexico's leading suppliers of P&W paper. The company also produces specialty papers and packaging materials.
