Join fellow Tissue industry professionals for a tour of the CR Meyer corporate office in Oshkosh, WI., to be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. This facility tour will be a part of the Tissue 2018 Conference

In this facility tour, you’ll learn the general contractor capabilities and design/build process. As a self-performing contractor with teams of highly skilled craftsmen employed in the most high-demand trades of industrial construction and maintenance, CR Meyer pioneered the modern concept of industrial design/build capabilities in the 1980s. This concept brings a dedicated team of architects and engineers together as they consult, design, and build with customers from the earliest conceptual stages of a project.

The tour will also take visitors to the construction yard where you’ll see an exhibit of CR Meyer’s specialty equipment
The tour concludes with a visit to the Fab Shop and the new Charles R. Meyer Leadership Center. Established in 2011, the Fab Shop eased scheduling needs by bringing fabrication inhouse. The 59,500-square foot facility houses a variety of major equipment, materials, and welding capabilities. The new Leadership Center invests in the company’s future by capturing and preserving the heart of the company’s wisdom and experience. The program integrates hands-on training with classroom learning in the areas of safety, administration, professional development and trade. The Leadership Center has industry standard equipment (including a paper machine) to train selected participants to be future leaders of the company.

CR Meyer is an industrial general contractor with eight field offices strategically located across the United States. Established in 1888 by Charles Rudolph Meyer in Oshkosh, Wis., CR Meyer has grown to employ 900 to 1,500 skilled union tradespeople across nine market sectors.
