Sodra Cell Raising NBSK Pulp Prices

Södra Cell, Sweden, is increasing the prices of its northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp in Europe. It will raise prices up to $1,170 per metric ton, effective beginning April 1, 2018.
"We continue to see very strong global demand while supply remains tight," said Magnus Björkman, VP Marketing and Sales, Södra Cell. "This latest increase is a reflection of the on-going imbalance in the global market."
