Lecta to Raise Prices of Label Papers by 7%

Lecta, Barcelona, Spain, this week announced a price increase of 7% on its different grades for labeling applications: coated 1s, metallized papers, cast coated, and self-adhesive papers.

The price increase is unavoidable, the company pointed out, to offset the continuous increase in manufacturing costs due to the rising costs of pulp and other raw materials.

The new prices become effective with deliveries beginning April 2, 2018.

Lecta noted that its sales teams are at its customers' disposal to provide specific information on how the price increase will be applied by product on a country-by-country basis.
