Toscotec North America: Sales Area Manager North America - Paper & Board Division.

The primary function of this job is to establish and lead the Paper & Board division in the N.A. Market:
  • Lead capital sales project and act as the main contact to customers in the assigned market.
  • Define the sales and service strategy and identify business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Sales manager will proactively contact target customers to qualify their interest and involvement with the type of equipment we offer and assisting with developing a preliminary technical solution and quotation.
  • Schedule meetings to determine their needs and provide them with information about our products and services. 
  • From the technical meetings, the sales manager will review the customer inquiries, possible needed interpreting of client specifications, and support the sales applications engineering in offers preparation. 
  • Responsibilities include reviewing the final proposal to assure our offering will meet the requirements to technical and commercial questions.
  • The sales manager will also assist with pricing strategy to maximize gross margin for each project, while providing the best opportunity to secure the order.
  • Provide management with sales forecast on a quarter basis and complete the visit reports in a timely manner.
  • Travel estimated to be greater than 50%. 
  • Manage travel expenses, including air travel, hotels, car rental, meals and expenses, etc.
  • Preparation and execution of the final negotiations.
  • Support the project management and technician installation process.
  • Reports to the P&B head of sales. 
  • Working with the sales team and technical manager in Lucca, Italy ,will be the key to the success in this role.
Education/experience profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 10 years operative experience in the paper and board business
  • In-depth technical knowledge of P&B machinery and the market is required
  • Ability to travel international as needed when requested 
  • High flexibility considering working time 
  • Proficient in MS-Office and AutoCAD.
