Supremex Announces Departure of CFO

Supremex Inc., Montreal, Que., Canada, a North American manufacturer and marketer of envelopes and a provider of packaging and specialty products, this week announced that Bertrand Jolicoeur, CFO and corporate secretary, will be leaving the company on Dec. 15, 2017, to pursue another employment opportunity. 

"Bertrand played an important role in helping us structure and integrate a key acquisition in the packaging space, which significantly strengthened our position in the folding carton packaging market," said Stewart Emerson, president and CEO. "We wish to thank Bertrand for his contribution and wish him success in his next endeavor." 

Lyne Bégin will act as Interim VP of Finance along with her current duties. She joined the company in 2014 as corporate controller and also previously held this position with Supremex between 1994 and 2006. The company is in the process of engaging an executive search firm to accelerate the hiring process of a new CFO.

Supremex operates facilities across seven provinces in Canada and three facilities in the U.S., employing approximately 845 people. The Supremex' growing footprint allows it to efficiently manufacture and distribute paper and packaging solutions designed to the specifications of major national and multinational corporations, resellers, government entities, SMEs, and solutions providers.
