For the third year in a row, BPM Inc., northeast Wisconsin (USA) paper mill, has received recognition as a Green Professional in the Wisconsin Green Masters Program. The Green Masters Program recognizes and assesses Wisconsin businesses on their sustainability performance in a variety of sustainability categories.

"Participation in the Green Masters Program validates BPM’s continued commitment to the environment, sustainability and social responsibility," said Jim Koronkiewicz, BPM GM. "It’s a hands-on tool that BPM can use annually to review areas of sustainable potential. With an increased score, the BPM team has worked hard for this impressive accomplishment."
The program is grounded in an in-depth survey where points are rewarded for a variety of actions. These actions are grouped into areas that include: Energy, Climate, Workforce, Governance, and Community and Educational Outreach. BPM has proven its dedication and commitment to sustainability through advancing in the program.

"BPM is among a small group of companies that receives a higher score every year in the Green Masters Program, said Tom Eggert, executive director, Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council. "They are obviously dedicated to continuous improvement and are one of the top performing paper companies every year."

BPM manufactures machine glazed (MG) converting paper grades for the flexible packaging, food, and confectionery industries, and in addition, offers in-house toll printing and waxing under one roof, making the operation unique to the industry.  The specialty paper mill also manufactures uncoated fine paper grades made from 100% post consumer waste recycled paper, Envirographic™ 100.
