Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Solenis, Wilmington, Del., USA, a global producer of specialty chemicals, will increase prices on all silicone defoamers by 5% to 25%, depending on their silicone concentration. This will be effective immediately or as customer contracts allow.

Escalation of key raw materials required to produce silicone defoamers are the drivers for this increase.

Solenis’ product portfolio includes a broad array of process, functional, and water treatment chemistries as well as state-of-the-art monitoring and control systems. These technologies are used by customers to improve operational efficiencies, enhance product quality, protect plant assets and minimize environmental impact. The company has 37 manufacturing facilities strategically located around the globe and employs a team of approximately 3,700 professionals in 118 countries across five continents.
