Japan BHK/BSK Pulp Imports Rise

Japan’s BHK (bleached hardwood kraft) pulp imports were up 25.7% y/y through the first seven months of 2017, according to the Japan Ministry of Finance. For the same period, BSK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp imports rose by 4.3%.

The following table shows Japan’s BHK and BSK pulp imports for July and the first seven months of 2017 from key sections of the world.
