Mac Papers, Jacksonville, Fla., USA, one of the largest merchant distributors in the Southeast U.S., is launching HighlanderT coated cover for packaging and high-end graphics applications. The product line includes HighlanderT High Yield C1S coated cover and HighlanderT C2S coated cover.

Highlander High Yield C1S coated cover offers the lowest basis weights in the industry, delivering significant savings in upfront costs and freight. Highlander C2S coated cover is engineered to hold up to the most advanced two-sided print techniques and was manufactured without optical brighteners, ensuring lasting visual integrity. Both products are FDA-approved for direct food contact, offer the same brightness in all calipers, and provide continuity of shade and excellent printability.

"Mac Papers' introduction of Highlander coated cover is closely aligned with our commitment to help commercial print customers successfully compete in the growing printed packaging and folding carton markets," said Printed Packaging and Paperboard Director of Sales Graham Riley. "Highlander High Yield offers a significant cost savings advantage and both products have FDA direct food contact approval, further broadening the range of applications to the food industry."

Mac Papers is a distribution partner for paper and print, packaging, facility supplies and office products. The company operates 22 locations and 16 retail stores across nine states. It is a third generation, family-owned and operated business founded in 1965. Sister company Mac Papers Envelope Converters converts and prints an extensive range of standard and custom envelopes—more than 14 million per day—utilizing the latest in equipment and technology.
