Ohlander Joins JP Gould Sweden Operation

Michael Trachtenberg, EVP of JP Gould International, New York, N.Y., USA, this week announced the appointment of Jörgen Ohlander as SVP of packaging for the Sweden operation. Ohlander began his career in 1973 with Ekman & Co. AB. In 1976, he joined Elof Hansson AB where he worked until 1998, as Paper Divisional Manager EMEA. In 1998 he joined FSA Fortex as a partner and in 2010 cofounded Fortex International. 

As Chairman of Fortex International, Ohlander concentrated on containerboard and kraft paper sales to Africa, growing the business to more than $300 million in revenue. 

Jim Costenbader, president of the Price & Pierce group said that "it is the desire of our ownership to grow in the packaging segment of the industry. Jörgen’s experience and reputation in this area is invaluable."
