World-20 Pulp Shipments Creep Down in May

World-20 pulp shipments in May 2017 were down 0.3% y/y, at 89% capacity, according to the PPPC. BSK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp stocks were down one day to 29 days. BHK (bleached hardwood kraft) pulp was up one day to 37 days. 

The following table shows the PPPC World-20 market pulp trade statistics for May 2017, to main areas of the world, by grade, operating rate, and producer’s stock (by days) for BSK and BHK pulps.
