Fibria Increasing N.A./Europe Pulp Prices by $20/Metric Ton

As reported this week by Reuters, Fibria, Brazil, has announced an increase in pulp prices by $20, to $1,060 per metric ton in North America and by $20 to $880 per metric ton in Europe, effective July 1, 2017. 

Fibria is the world's largest producer of eucalyptus pulp. With an annual production capacity of 5.3 million tons of pulp, the company has industrial units in Aracruz (Espírito Santo), Jacareí (Sao Paulo), and Tres Lagoas (Mato Grosso do Sul), as well as in Eunapolis (Bahia), where it operates Veracel in a joint operation with Stora Enso.
