Amcor, Switzerland, has named Tom Long a non-executive director of the company. Based in the U.S., Long has broad international corporate experience, including extensive experience with global beverage businesses.

After spending 17 years in various roles with Coca-Cola Co., Long co-led the establishment of MillerCoors, LLC, a joint venture between SABMiller PLC and Molson Coors Brewing Co. This merger created the second largest brewer in America, and Long was the CEO of that company until 2015.

Long is currently a non-executive director, and member of the Compensation and Governance Committees, of Wolverine World Wide Inc., a marketer of branded footwear.

Amcor’s Chairman Graeme Liebelt said that "my fellow directors and I are delighted that Tom will be joining us on the Amcor Board. Tom’s considerable experience and expertise will be a valuable addition to the skillset of the board, and we look forward to his contribution to the continuing success of the company."
