China Pulp Imports Soar to New Record High

China’s total pulp imports soared to a new record high in March 2017, with a total of  2.21 million metric ton being imported.  This represents a gain of 22% y/y, up 26% y/y through Q1 2017.

The following graph, based on China Customs Bureau data, shows China’s monthly pulp imports (all grades) from 2010 through March 2017.
