BCI (Buckeye Corrugated Inc.), Akron, Ohio, USA, has acquired Bellotti Packaging Inc. (known as Bell-Pak) located in Syracuse, N.Y.  Bell-Pak, which started operations in 1986, was previously owned by Louis Bellotti Jr. Since its inception, Bell-Pak has been regarded as one of the leading independent sheet plants in Syracuse, providing exceptional service and products to its customers.

BCI President and CEO Doug Bosnik said that "Lou Bellotti and the associates at Bell-Pak have built a solid business in service to their customers. That service culture will continue as we complete this next succession step for their company. Going forward, Bell-Pak will be merged into BCI’s Empire Division, which will add to BCI’s growing market position in upstate New York. Bell-Pak’s excellent market reputation is a natural fit for BCI’s customer focused culture, and we are excited that they selected us to continue their legacy."

BCI, an employee-owned company, has 14 locations, including nine sheet plants, a sales/design center, and a sheet feeder joint venture all serving the East, Midwest, and Southern U.S.
