U.S. Chemical Pulp Imports Drop through February 2017

U.S. BHK (bleached hardwood kraft) pulp imports were down 19% y/y, January-February 2017. BSK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp imports were 3% lower for the same period, according to data by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Census 

The following table compares 2017 versus 2016 BHK and BSK pulp imports for February and the first two months of each year.
