Don’t miss keynote presentations on how fiber composites are helping transform the auto industry by replacing petroleum-based components at the Advancements in Fiber-Polymer Composites Symposium, May 16-18 in Madison, Wis., USA.

Dr. Mohini Sain, dean and professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Forestry, will discuss his pioneering work on Ontario Biocar Initiative. Dr. Alper Kiziltas, Research Scientist, Ford Motor Co., will share how Ford is using cellulose-reinforced, compatibilized recycled polymer blends in its vehicles.

In conjunction with the symposium, attendees can register to attend an optional one-day workshop, "Cellulose Nanocomposites: From Raw Materials to Applications" This workshop will cover research in raw materials, composite properties, applications, concerns, and challenges. The workshop will include a tour of the Forest Products Lab’s Cellulose Nanocrystal Pilot Facility.

This symposium attracts hundreds of researchers, engineers, suppliers, producers, and educators to collaborate on the latest advances and future opportunities for fiber-polymer composites.

Sponsorship and exhibit opportunities are still available. Keep visiting the Advancement in Fiber-Polymer Composites Symposium website for additional speaker and program updates.
