Caraustar Industries Inc., Atlanta, Ga., USA, this week announced a price increase of $60 per ton on all uncoated recycled paperboard grades. The increase will be effective starting with shipments on Feb. 10, 2017. The increase is in response to increased raw materials and other costs during 2016, including the various grades of recycled fiber used in producing uncoated recycled paperboard.

Caraustar Industries is one of North America's largest integrated manufacturers of 100% recycled paperboard and converted paperboard products. The company serves the four principal recycled boxboard product end-use markets: tubes and cores; folding cartons; gypsum facing paper; and specialty paperboard products.
