Deadline for Woman of the Year Award Nominations Extended to January 31

TAPPI/PIMA’s Woman of the Year award recognizes women that have demonstrated excellence in leading, motivating, and developing others within the pulp, paper, tissue, packaging, and related industries. The nomination deadline has been extended to Jan. 31, 2017.
 
Nominees should have demonstrated the following qualities:
 
LEADERSHIP – Has demonstrated excellent leadership skills within her company, community, and/or volunteer activities. Leading by example, 
 
IMPACT – Has had a visible and/or tangible impact on fellow employees, whether subordinates or others within her company, through actions or activities.
 
DEVELOPING OTHERS – Is dedicated to mentoring within or outside of her company, provided support for rising professionals, and is actively engaged in career coaching.
 
PRESENCE – Possesses visibility within her organization or field, demonstrates high integrity in actions and words, and portrays an image of strength and confidence that inspires.
 
Requirements for Selection:
An individual employed in the pulp, paper, board, tissue, or related industry. 
 
Submission Deadline:
The nomination form must be submitted by the last day of next month - Thursday, Jan. 31, 2017.
 
Selection and Presentation: 
The Woman of the Year is selected by the Award Committee within the PIMA Women in Industry Committee. The awardee will be named in late winter of 2017, with the award being presented at PaperCon 2017.
