Sweeney Named VP of Operations for New Procemex N.A. Operations

Procemex Inc., Finland, a supplier of paper and pulp web monitoring and web inspection system solutions, this past week announced that it is establishing a new company in the U.S. Procemex has appointed Wesley Sweeny VP of Operations of the new company. In his new role, Sweeny will lead all aspects of Procemex’s businesses based in North America.

Sweeny joined the company in October 2016. His previous experience includes more than a decade in the web inspection, monitoring, and machine vision marketplace as the director of sales at Cognex, Natick, Mass., USA. 

"Wesley is a key leader, with direct responsibility for accelerating Procemex’s business in Northern America and to drive for operational excellence and execute our plans to grow and expand in the paper and pulp industry," said Mika Valkonen, CEO of Procemex International. "I am very pleased that we have had the opportunity to bring Wesley into our team. His knowledge and experience gives us the support and strength we need in North America."

Jim Haza will continue to support the company’s North American customers as technical support and services manager of Procemex.
