U.S. Containerboard Output Creeps up in October

U.S. containerboard production in October 2016 was 1.3% higher compared with October 2015, according to AF&PS’s (Washington, D.C., USA) October 2016 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report released this past week. The month-over-month average daily production compared with September 2016 was 2.1% lower.
The containerboard operating rate for October decreased to 95.5%, while the year-to-date operating rate of 95% was 0.9% lower compared with year-to-date 2015.
