U.S. Pulp Exports up through August

U.S. 2016 BSK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp exports were up 8% y/y through the month of August, with 25% more being exported to China, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Census.
The following table shows U.S. BSK and BHK (bleached hardwood kraft) pulp exports for August 2016 and for the first eight months of 2016. The graph charts total U.S. monthly BSK exports and to China from 2008 through August 2016.
