Stora Enso Launches CKB Nude Paperboard

Stora Enso, Finland, is launching a new paperboard, CKB Nude™. The product is designed to meet consumer preferences for renewable, recyclable, and sustainable materials with a natural look and feel. CKB Nude is suitable for a wide range of end use applications, from food packaging to beverages, cosmetics, and luxury due to its durability, light weight, and converting and printing quality.

"Made from pure virgin fiber, CKB Nude is a safe choice not only for food packaging, but also for many other products. As an uncoated, brown board, CKB Nude has an eye-catching organic appeal to consumers who favor sustainable, natural products. Made from 100% virgin fiber and in a strict production process similar to liquid packaging board, CKB Nude provides proven food safety, and there are no coating chemicals used. This creates additional value, as there is an increasing demand for product safety practices in the value chain of foodstuffs. 

CKB Nude offers the same remarkable stiffness and strength for which the entire Stora Enso CKB product family is known. Its good runnability and convertibility enable high production efficiency and packaging performance in every application. CKB Nude comes in 205, 230, and 255 gsm basis weights.
