Glatfelter, York, Pa., USA, this week announced that its Pixelle® line of high-speed inkjet papers is now qualified for use on the Ricoh Pro VC60000 continuous feed inkjet printer.

"The VC60000 is an impressive piece of equipment that will further position inkjet as the technology of choice in today’s marketplace. We are thrilled to add Ricoh to our growing list of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that have qualified Pixelle papers, including Canon, HP, Kodak, Screen and Xerox," said Mark Comensoli, general sales manager at Glatfelter. "Engineered to meet the demands of today’s production inkjet presses, Pixelle provides the print quality and problem-free runnability that printers demand, while offering a diverse product portfolio to help optimize speed, print quality, and ink consumption."

Glatfelter has engineered high-speed inkjet paper for more than a decade. Today, with more than 30 treated, untreated, and coated papers, its comprehensive Pixelle line provides customers a single-source alternative, saving valuable time and money. Glatfelter also backs its products with unparalleled training and support to help printers succeed in the rapidly growing high-speed inkjet market.

"The reliability of Pixelle finds Ricoh and many OEMs not only qualifying Pixelle papers, but also specifying them as their house sheet, which speaks to the confidence they have in the papers’ ability to perform on their presses," added Comensoli. "We’re proud of our track record and look forward to sharing information about the Pixelle product line at booth 2407 during Graph Expo, Sept.  25-28, 2016, in Orlando, Fla."
