Imerys Carbonates N.A. Increases Calcium Carbonate Product Prices

Imerys Carbonates North America, Roswell, Ga., USA, this week announced a price increase for its calcium carbonate products. The increase is effective as of Dec. 1, 2016, and is subject to any provisions in individual contracts. Prices will increase an average of 2% to 10%, depending on product grade and packaging.
The price increase supports a portion of the rising costs of mining and processing, despite Imerys’ operational excellence programs to improve efficiencies in its operations.
