U.S. Containerboard Output Edges Down in July

According to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) July 2016 Kraft Paper Report, released August 16, containerboard production was 0.7% lower than July of 2015. Month-over-month average daily production compared to June 2016 was 0.3% higher.
The containerboard operating rate for July decreased to 93.9%, while the year-to-date operating rate of 94.4% was 1.7% lower compared to year-to-date 2015.
