Paper packaging could up until recently only be done at relatively slower speeds, both manually and mechanically. For Paper-Vento, a new product introduced by NNZ (Groningen, Netherlands), a specially coated paper is used. This means paper material for packaging can be processed on quicker, vertical machinery.

Paper-Vento is suitable for dry to lightly moist products with a total weight of 0.5 to 2.5 kilograms. The bag has a trendy look and possibilities for printing are optimal. The window has been made from clafnet, a light and elegant material which allows for ventilation and visibility of the products.

Starting this past month potato wholesaler Molenaar started using NNZ Paper-Vento packaging in the style pictured above for five different potato strains. The products are put in 2.0 and a 2.5 kilogram packaging.
