After two recent acquisitions, Arcil SA, based in Puiseux-Pontoise, France, has changed its name to Synerlink. Arcil remains the brand name for the company’s form-fill-seal (FFS) lines that are manufactured in France.

"This name change was necessary following the recent acquisitions of Dinieper and Dairy Pack, and confirms our commitment to expanding our solutions and services in the fresh dairy market and beyond," explained Eric Lesbats, CEO of Synerlink. "Our will is that, relying on our trusted brand names, Synerlink will be recognized as the worldwide leader in integrated packaging lines."

Synerlink Iberica will be developing the Dairy Pack brand name through its production unit in Spain, and Dinieper, based in Brazil, will be renamed Synerlink Latin America in the future. Synerlink is part of the growing global capital equipment and engineering solutions company Barry-Wehmiller.

As part of its portfolio, Synerlink offers several complementary packaging options for food brands. Arcil, Dinieper and Dairy Pack specialize in FFS machines with low-, medium-, and high-output capacities. Dosil’s dosing modules can be integrated on any kind of line, and Aprium offers various end-of-line automated solutions (in-line sleeve application, product combination, grouping, overwrapping, and case-packing).
Through these complementary areas of expertise, Synerlink effectively manages the engineering of complete packaging lines that can be adapted over time. With global service teams—located in France, the U.S., Brazil, China, and Russia—Synerlink also supports all after-sales activities, providing responsive service, multilingual technical assistance, a local supply of spare parts and retrofit services for pre-owned machines.

Part of Barry-Wehmiller’s Packaging Solutions group, Synerlink designs, manufactures, and integrates complete ultra-clean packaging lines for spoonable and spreadable dairy products, as well as fruit-based desserts. The global approach proposed by Synerlink (packaging design, project management, complete line testing) enables the company to ensure maximum performance warranty to its customers. Today, Synerlink provides the engineering of complete packaging lines through a broad range of packaging solutions, such as Arcil and Dinieper form-fill-seal lines, Dairy Pack form-fill-seal and fill-seal machines (preformed cups), Dosil filling/dosing modules, and Aprium robotic solutions for end-of-lines, such as collating and overwrapping, picking, crating, and palletizing.

Barry-Wehmiller is a diversified global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology for the packaging, corrugating, sheeting and paper converting industries. By blending people-centric leadership with disciplined operational strategies and purpose-driven growth, Barry-Wehmiller has become a $2+ billion organization with 11,000-plus team members united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.
