DeZURIK/APCO/Hilton, Sartell, Minn., USA, this week added the APCO CVS-EDV Swing Check Valve to its family of check valves. The new product complements the company’s existing swing check valve line, offering a reliable and economical option for standard duty use.

The CVS-EDV Swing Check Valve is AWWA C508 compliant and designed to provide long-term, dependable service up to 250 psi working pressure.

CVS-EDV Valves are available in sizes from 3 in. to 30 in., with replaceable resilient seats in either NBR or EPDM. They are NSF epoxy lined and coated to a dry film thickness of 12 mils. They are available with a choice of Lever and Weight, Lever and Spring, or Air Cushion closure control device.

The new CVS-EDV Valve joins the full featured, premium CVS-6000 and the heavy-duty CVS-250 in DeZURIK’s line of APCO Swing Check Valves, which are used to prevent the back flow of fluid by closing before flow reversal, thereby preventing slam and water hammer. APCO Swing Check Valves have been successfully installed in clean and dirty applications, including sewage treatment, water treatment, water distribution, industrial water, and wastewater services.

More information on the full line of swing check valves can be found on DeZURIK’s web site on the Products page under the "Check Valves" and then "APCO Swing Check Valves" selection. How to find a DeZURIK representative is also available online.
