U.S. BSK Pulp Exports Rise, BSK Exports Fall

U.S. exports of bleached softwood kraft (BSK) pulp increased 9.3% y/y through April 2016, according to data released by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Census. Some 16% more BSK pulp was shipped to China in April. U.S. Bleached hardwood kraft (BHK) pulp exports were down 15% in April. 

The following table shows U.S. BSK and BHK pulp exports for April and for the first four months of 2016.
