"Mill Innovations: Process Reliability to Breakthrough Technologies" is the theme for TAPPI's PEERS 2016 Conference, which will be held on September 25-28 in Jacksonville, Fla., USA. These important words will be the focus throughout this four-day event. Mills are constantly striving to stay competitive and grow in today's marketplace, and key to this growth is understanding not only what new technologies have been developed but also how current processes can be improved to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness. The PEERS 2016 comprehensive program addresses a wide-range of critical areas that will help mills boost their performance.

PEERS is an acronym for Pulping, Engineering, Environmental, Recycling, and Sustainability. It strives to tackle the most dynamic, critical topics in the pulp and paper arena today. Every "peer-reviewed" session in the PEERS technical program has been selected based on its quality and relevancy to issues currently faced by mills. These "peers" are industry professionals that are actively involved in the industry and understand the challenges mills deal with on a regular basis.
