Klabin, Brazil, the country's largest paper producer and exporter and leading manufacturer of paperboard for packaging, announced this past week the company donated 26,000 corrugated board boxes that will be used throughout the state of São Paulo to collect clothes for the 2016 Winter Coat Campaign, launched for this year in mid-May by the Solidarity Social Fund of the State of São Paulo.

Klabin has been supporting the Winter Coat Campaign for more than 10 years and is the fund's biggest partner in this initiative. The two-month campaign will distribute the collected clothes to cities all over the state and to social entities in the city of São Paulo registered with the social fund, in addition to hospitals and shelters for the homeless.

The corrugated board boxes are already located in busy areas such as drug stores, supermarkets, schools, condominiums, as well as public and private companies. Klabin’s packaging is environmentally friendly, derived from renewable sources, and produced with raw material obtained from planted forests.
