Adritz Nonwoven, part of international technology Group Andrits, Austria, has received three orders from Mogul to supply two complete spunlace lines and one spunjet line (combination of spunlaid and hydroentanglement processes). Mogul is one of the leading Turkish producers of nonwovens, supplying its products mainly to international customers. Delivery of all three nonwovens lines is scheduled still for 2016.

One of the Andritz neXline spunlace lines will be installed at Mogul’s new plant in Luleburgaz, Turkey. It is designed with a crosslapped configuration to cater to a great variety of end uses, e.g. in the automotive sector, for artificial leather, dry wipes, or roofing substrates. Mogul has also decided to invest in a spunjet line for Luleburgaz to produce technical nonwovens from splittable bi-component filaments.

The second complete spunlace line ordered by Mogul will operate in its new North American facility,
located in Gray Court, S.C. This line, with in-line carding configuration, will produce lightweight fabrics at very high speed for applications in the medical and hygiene sectors (e.g. for wet wipes). Thanks to this new investment, Mogul will be able to better serve its North American customers.

The three new nonwovens lines will be equipped with the latest innovations from Andritz Nonwoven, e.g. with the energy-saving neXecodry system, and will allow Mogul to be a step ahead in its market with a wide range of innovative nonwoven fabrics.
