Appvion Inc., Appleton, Wis., USA, has announced additional pigment ink qualifications for its Triumph™ Treated Ultra P high-speed inkjet offering. Triumph Treated Ultra P is now qualified to run on Ricoh Pro VC60000 and InfoPrint 5000 Series, Kodak Prosper 5000 xii and 6000, and well as all HP T series (T200, T300, T400) inkjet presses. Appvion launched Triumph Treated Ultra P in January.

The Triumph Treated Ultra P High-Speed Inkjet Paper – the product name is derived from its ultra-high performance and outstanding color outcomes with pigment inks – is engineered to deliver superior results and improved productivity with roll-fed high-speed inkjet presses using pigment aqueous inks.

"We are thrilled, but not surprised, that Triumph Treated Ultra P is being quickly qualified by OEMs," said Ethan Haas, Appvion’s VP and GM of carbonless and specialty papers. "This new product offers the runnability, consistency, color vibrancy, ink adhesion, image contrast, quick drying, and low show-through properties high-speed inkjet presses demand. Triumph Treated Ultra P is specifically engineered to optimize today’s printing technology, and the more this paper passes rigorous testing by OEMs, the more the industry will realize what a superb product Triumph Treated Ultra P is."

All Triumph High-Speed Inkjet Papers are made in the U.S. They are acid free, elemental chlorine free (ECF), and manufactured under ISO 14001:2004-certified environmental management systems. FSC® Certified (FSC-C003368) product versions are available. Triumph High-Speed Inkjet Papers have been qualified on major OEM (original equipment manufacturer) presses including Canon Océ, Ricoh, HP, and Screen, and are covered by Appvion’s 100% satisfaction guarantee. Appvion also offers customers technical support for product testing.

Appvion creates product solutions through its development and use of coating formulations and applications. The company produces thermal, carbonless, security, inkjet, digital specialty, and colored papers. The company has manufacturing operations in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, employs approximately 1,400 people, and is 100% employee-owned. More information is available online.
