Precision Global Names Martinez GM of Precision Mexico/Precision Venezuela

Precision Global, Rye Brook, N.Y., USA, a ,global manufacturer of valves, actuators and other dispensing solutions across a variety of end markets, this week announced that Victor Martinez has been appointed GM of Precision Mexico and Precision Venezuela, effective immediately. Precision Global's current Latin America footprint includes plants in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela.  

Martinez brings considerable packaging experience and plastic processing to Precision Global, and will report directly to Eugenio Bergoglio, Regional Manager of Precision Global's Latin America operations.
  
Prior to joining Precision Global, Martinez served as a GM at Berry Plastics, a global and publicly traded multi-billion dollar corporation. While at Berry Plastics, he managed a team of 350 employees and ensured continuous improvement of processes. Before joining Berry Plastics, Martinez spent more than 14 years with Graham Packaging in Mexico, Europe, and Asia. During his tenure at Graham Packaging, he worked across the business in various general managerial, product development and engineering roles.

Eugenio Bergoglio, Regional Manager of Precision Global's Latin American operations, said that "Victor is an accomplished industrial engineer with a proven track record of managing plastics processing and packaging facilities. He will be an integral member of the Precision Global Latin America regional team as we continue to grow productivity and efficiency across our plants."

Martinez holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with a specialty in project management from UNAM, Mexico City, as well as a master's degree in international business from both IPADE and Ivey Business School in Canada.
