IP Provides $1 Million in Flood Disaster Relief

 

According to a report this past week by The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tenn., USA, International Paper (IP), has granted $1 million for disaster relief caused by flooding in Louisiana and Texas.

The Memphis-based manufacturer announced the relief t Thursday of last week.

IP said that 18 facilities in Texas and nine in Louisiana employ nearly 4,500 workers.

IP’s Industrial Packaging unit also has donated more than 50,000 boxes to food banks and church groups in the two states, assisting the hardest-hit flood victims..
