Nippon Paper Integrates Soka and Ashikaga Mill

Nippon Paper Industries (Japan) announced this past week the company has decided to integrate Soka Mill in Soka, Saitama and Ashikaga Mill in Ashikaga, Tochigi as of April 1 of this year. The new name after the integration will be "Kanto Mill."

Soka Mill and Ashikaga Mill have been cooperating closely to conduct the paperboard business in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Taking the stringent business environment into consideration, the company reports it will strengthen the collaboration system to further enhance the competitiveness and efficiency of the mills by integrating the two mills.
