Graphic Packaging Plans to Expand in Virginia

Graphic Packaging International, Metro Atlanta, Ga., USA, the wholly owned subsidiary of Graphic Packaging Holding Co. and a provider of packaging solutions to food, beverage, and other consumer products companies, will invest $20 million to expand its operation in Staunton, Va., USA, Gov.Terry McAuliffe announced this past Friday. The project will create 43 jobs.
 
"The folding carton plant is strategically important for the company," said President and CEO Michael Doss. He added that it will significantly bolster the company's manufacturing capabilities to serve new customers
 
McAuliffe approved a $250,000 grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund to assist Staunton with the project.
