Maier Appointed New CEO of Heinzel Group

The Supervisory Board of the Heinzel Group, Vienna, Austria, has appointed Kurt Maier as new CEO of Heinzel Holding GmbH. Maier, currently spokesman of the Management Board of the group company Zellstoff Pöls AG, will assume his new role beginning with the next general meeting on March 31, 2016. 
 
On the same day, the current CEO Alfred Heinzel will withdraw from the operational business and join the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board will decide on the successor of Maier at Zellstoff Pöls AG soon.

The Heinzel Group, which is united under the Heinzel Holding umbrella, ranks with its industrial locations Zellstoff Pöls AG, Laakirchen Papier AG (both Austria) and AS Estonian Cell (Estonia) among the largest producers of market pulp and magazine paper in Central and Eastern Europe.
