TAPPI Industry Career Center: DuBois Chemicals seeks Account Manager

Position Summary:
 
Due to a business expansion in several markets, the Paper Division is looking to add an Account Manager in the Georgia/South Carolina area.  
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Developing and growing new business opportunities through consultative selling
  • Managing the existing sales territory and reviewing pulp and paper mill programs and processes, including deposit controls, machine cleaning, felt cleaning, de-greasing, etc.
  • Servicing equipment and providing product training to enhance customer processes and product yield
  • Consulting with sales managers and technical personnel to supply "best in class" specialty chemical solutions to their everyday cleaning and deposit control needs. 
Position Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years selling/servicing the pulp and paper industry
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • "Hunter" sales mentality
  • Commitment to delivering an extraordinary level of service to our customer base
  • Eagerness to learn and grow the scope of the role
  • Local and regional travel is required – must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
