Appvion Pledges Support to Navy SEAL Foundation

Appvion Inc., Appleton, Wis., USA, has made a three-year financial commitment to support the U.S. Navy SEAL Foundation.

"As an elite military force, the Navy SEALs exemplify the finest traditions of the American spirit and way of life," said Ethan Haas, Appvion's VP and GM of carbonless and specialty papers. "In light of the courageous services the SEALs and the Naval Special Warfare Community provide our country, they, their families, and the other military units that sustain them, deserve our full support." 

The Navy SEAL Foundation is an independent, non-profit group that provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare Community and its families. The Foundation's mission is fulfilled through programs supporting the Naval Special Warfare community, their families, and the families of the fallen.

These include warrior support and family services, educational opportunities, tragedy assistance and survivor support, and legacy preservation and transition initiatives. The Navy SEAL Foundation is a 501(c)(3), tax exempt, national non-profit charitable foundation. For the past four years, it has maintained a four-star Charity Navigator rating.
