Vaahto Group CEO to Change

Kalle Rasinmäki will finish his assignment as CEO of Vaahto Group Plc Oyj, Finland, on November 30, as mutually agreed. He continues to work in the service of the company in special assignments until Jan. 31, 2016. 

Martti Heikkilä, M.Sc. (Tech.), has been appointed the new CEO of Vaahto Group Plc, starting December 1. His previous position was managing director of Uutechnic Oy. Heikkilä will continue as managing director of Uutechnic Oy, and has also been appointed to act as managing director of Japrotek Oy Ab and AP-Tela Oy.

"We thank Kalle Rasinmäki for work extremely well done, especially in finalizing the transaction between Vaahto and Uutechnic. I’m happy that his successor has been found within the Group. I believe that Martti Heikkilä has good qualifications to succeed in his demanding assignment," said Jouko Peräaho, chairman of the board of directors.

The transaction between Vaahto Group Plc Oyj and Uutechnic Oy and the financial arrangements related to the transaction has become finally valid after Uutechnic’s and Vaahto Group’s Extraordinary general meetings have approved the transaction unanimously. The transaction is estimated to be realized by the end of January 2016.
