PG Paper, headquartered near Glasgow, Scotland, U.K, announced late this past week that it had aquired both the Trucard brands as well as the Gemini paper range from the administrators of Tullis Russell, the large U.K. paper company which suddenly and somewhat unexpectedly went out of business in April of this year.

No exact details on the cost were revealed in a recent Print Week, (Dinton, U.K) article other than PG paper saying they were bought for "a substantial sum". PG Paper's company owners are husband and wife Puneet and Poonam Gupta. They have managed to build a successful paper company that has built a reputation with graphic papers. They will start distributing globally to test the response to what they feel are very reputable and well-respected brands in the premium packaging board industry.
