PCMC Introduces Invisible Coreless Winding

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Paper Converting Machine Co. has developed a new patent-pending technology for coreless rolls called Invisible Coreless Winding. The new technology is applied to rewinders that also run with cores, and is not a specialty machine for dedicated coreless production. Thus, it can quickly and easily switch between production with or without cores. Invisible Coreless Winding utilizes special mandrels that enable the production of both high and low firmness coreless rolls.

When applied to Forte rewinders, the technology has the same enclosed transfer glue extrusion system, excellent accessibility, and ease of operation as when running with cores. Invisible Coreless Winding is available for both industrial and consumer products. More information is available online.
